Project description

The tunnel section is a three lane twin tube with a central duct. Tunnel and approaches are 1300 m long including 490 m immersed tunnel length.
Transportation of hazardous goods is acceptable according to the category I tunnel classification.

Scope of work

To further optimalize the overall civil and M&E design for the tunnel, project management, and detailed engineering for the client. During construction of the works to carry out site supervision and management. 
For the M&E installations a project definition and method statement was made. This also included traffic management and remote control of the Noordtunnel and other tunnel and bridges in one control room located in one of the portal buildings.
