Masterclass tunnels

The main purpose of this Masterclass is to create a basic knowledge level for employees who are already working on tunnel projects and to create more enthusiasm among employees about tunnels. With this, TEC ensures that the participants who have followed this Masterclass can be deployed more quickly and effectively in tunnel projects. Other goals of this Masterclass are to connect participants who are already working on tunnel projects and to extend the knowledge of specialists in other disciplines.

In September 2021 TEC started the pilot of the Masterclass. After an extensive evaluation, two new Masterclasses were given in 2022 and 2023, consisting of nine modules. These modules are:

1. Design process and organization;
2. Civil engineering;
3. Integral safety;
4. Tunnel technical installations;
5. Industrial automation and cybersecurity;
6. Digitalization;
7. Management and maintenance;
8. Education/training/exercise;
9. Sustainability.

After the last module, the participants will receive the Certificate of Participation.

In November 2023 TEC will start the next Masterclass.
